Things to do, places to go (eat) while at Fall Hershey

Recalling similar threads like this one in previous years, just wanted a forum of suggestions primarily for, but not limited to, some of the local restaurants and eateries that may be worth checking out while we're taking in the Fall Hershey experience in October.

Another much-appreciated contribution here from those who are the "locals" who live in or near the Hershey area, would be their mention of any "updates", or things that are new or may have changed in the year since many of us were most recently in Hershey last October. This could include new places to eat, stay at (hotels or campgrounds), other extracurricular activities, and any things to be aware of such as current road construction, etc.

Any information that could be considered "good to know about" while we're all in town in early October.

Thank you in advance!

When we go to Hershey, we stay with friends in Linglestown (up Rt. 39, about 15 minutes away).  We always make a point to go to Giotti's Italian Restaurant at least once.  Always very good food and VERY reasonably priced.  The good part is, Rt. 39 is never really congested at closing time either, so it's great to get to and from the festivities.

A new place has opened in the last few months. For anyone visiting the Library or staying at the lodge. In Briarcrest Square shopping center is Woo De La. It's a great place, wonderful food. A little small but they have carryout. Address is 23 Briarcrest Square.
