Replacing '36 Roadmaster fan belt

I don't have experience of this model but it should be much easier than that.  Probably need to wear gloves working next to the radiator core - I know from experience that it will mess up the backs of your hands -  and maybe unbolt the fan to make life easier.

I assume that it is like my 37.  Loosen the generator mount bolts to loosen the tension on the belt.  Carefully remove the belt from the generator, crank and lastly the water pump.  It is a tight fit between the fan and the radiator but it does fit.  Be sure to get the right belt as the belt for the 320 is wider than the small engine.  NAPA has or can get them from GATES.  If you go to GATES web site you can search by make and model to get a belt number.  Take this number to NAPA as they use GATES numbers with a different/added first number.  I just bought one for the 37 a couple of months ago.
