mrcvs
From the attached photo, where does the choke cable install? It appears that it is on the 'toggle' to the lower left? If so, is it the upper hole or the lower hole in which the cable goes? Also, does anyone know the thread and the diameter for screwing the gas line to the carburetor? hddennis
If everything is correct on your carb, the choke wire goes on the bottom. I've seen carbs where the butterfly has come loose and been re-soldered in the wrong position so check yours operation. When the wire pulls the lever to the horizontal the butterfly should be fully closing off the carb throat. The fuel line is 5/16th tubing. Curti
Is that a carburetor you are going to install on your Model A Ford?

Gary Gates
The extra hole is for engine's with out a starter so a choke pull could be positioned forward at radiator bottom for hand cranking!
