bill pritchett
A classmate from high school posted this picture and wanted to know what kind of car it was. It was one of her relatives. I took it to our local Region's meeting, and most people seemed stumped. We are from Indiana originally, but I do not know where it was taken.Any help would be appreciated. nzcarnerd
This looks to be an Overland,a 1916 Model 83 touring fitted with a detachable top - http://www.wokr.org/gallery/o_133.htmThere was also a limousine version, according to The Standard Catalog , which may have just been the same thing with the top permanently fixed as it sold for the same $950 price. Leif Holmberg
To the radiator looks REO 1916-1920 with an angled upper part of the radiator top,and the body very much looks like a 1916 Pierce Arrow Brougham(photo) proberly with a coach built body? Very interresting to see what it really are!Leif in Sweden.

bill pritchett
Thanks to all for help in the identification, especially with a fairly rare model like this.
Layden B
Has the typical Overland script on the hood at an angle just to the right of the crown of the fender and behind the headlamp. Hard to read but a very distinctively Overland feature like this one.
