Got my seats back for my truck

Recommended Posts

I replaced my seats for my 29 DB truck.

My springs were so bad I choose to use a wood base with high density foam. The base is 3/4" plywood with 3/4" white oak edging. I am quite pleased with the out come.

I used cardboard template for base size and seat thickness.

Where did you get that done and if you dint mind me asking, how much did it cost for the foam?

I had them done in Roseville CA at Roseville upholstery.

I believe any shop could do this type of work.

I provided the seat base and templates. The total cost was $460. Not sure about the cost of the foam but it was about half the cost. After checking on the foam cost it became clear that I should just have a professional handle the job.

and Yes they are very comfortable.
