WANT TO BUY:

SPEEDOMETER CABLE - 1970 CADILLAC WITH CRUISE CONTROL

THIS IS THE CABLE WHICH RUNS FROM THE CRUISE CONTROL UNIT THROUGH THE FIREWALL TO THE SPEEDOMETER HEAD

(Sorry for the all-caps - I forgot the key was locked)

Thanks Melvin,

I've also used universal cables in the past, sometimes without problems, but would just prefer to have a correct original. One end has become frayed, and I could simply add the universal tip, and sure, this could be functional, but then I could never again remove the cable to lube it.

This is a relatively low-mileage (79,xxx mile) triple-black convertible, and I treasure keeping it correct where ever possible.

Thanks for your response and question - but I'm still hoping to find the "right" replacement.

Hi Marty,

Would a 1972 Fleetwood have the cable you're needing...I've got a 52,000 mile Fleetwood that has great interior and dash...

Just a thought, as I won't be using any of the interior or body parts off of the car, so anything needed is possible...

Just contact me if you or anyone else needs parts....

Todd
