mastertech
just wondering why not universal cable ? I have use them in the past with no problems.
Marty Roth
Thanks Melvin,I've also used universal cables in the past, sometimes without problems, but would just prefer to have a correct original. One end has become frayed, and I could simply add the universal tip, and sure, this could be functional, but then I could never again remove the cable to lube it.This is a relatively low-mileage (79,xxx mile) triple-black convertible, and I treasure keeping it correct where ever possible. Thanks for your response and question - but I'm still hoping to find the "right" replacement. Native 0ne
Hi Marty,Would a 1972 Fleetwood have the cable you're needing...I've got a 52,000 mile Fleetwood that has great interior and dash...Just a thought, as I won't be using any of the interior or body parts off of the car, so anything needed is possible...Just contact me if you or anyone else needs parts....Todd
thetrifivepreserver
Marty, I have a few NOS GM short speedo cables, I believe for speedo to transducer. I can't trace the P/Ns (obsolete). If you give me a length, I can measure them. Bruce
