  1. My concern was about the quality of all the parts in the kit not just pistons. I know they all are guaranteed which doesn't mean much at all if an internal part fails due to the fact the engine has to come out and be disassembled for repair.
  2. Thanks for your reply and information. Bruce
  3. Looking for opinions on Rebuilders Choice antique engine parts from people that have used them. They are sold by Kanter Brothers and other sources. I am overhauling a 55 Pontiac 287 and considering their complete kit. Thanks, Bruce

  6. Retiring, would like to sell complete collection preferably but will continue to sell parts individually. I started specializing 55-57 Chevy parts. Thousands of used domestic parts from 70's back, purchased from various sources for years, crates of miscellaneous parts, engines, transmissions, hard to describe what it consists of, basically everything, some rare parts, an enormous selection of stainless and aluminum trim in racks, many thousand pieces of stainless alone, a collection of 55,56,57 Chevy parts, just added a collection of 40's Chevy parts mostly. This collection must be seen to be believed. A great sideline, sell online. I also go to the three swap meets at CMS. If your looking for a collection of antique parts to start or add to your business you won't be disappointed. I will also include the two sheds that house the parts and tables. Will refer my customers to the buyer also. This could be a turn key operation. $4000 704-455-7826

  10. This is a Reverse Thread. I'm looking for a picture of a bumper jack for a 55 pontiac. Mine is missing and would like one but don't know what I'm looking for when I go to swap meets. If any 55 Pontiac owners would be kind enough to send me a couple of pictures of theirs it would be greatly appreciated, bdeane5527@windstream.net Thanks Bruce
  11. Can any of you in N D give me any information on a shop in West Fargo, Kevin's Paint and Repairs that did restoration work. I recently bought a car that was restored by them and done very well. I would like to contact them but the number I have is disconnected and I can't find any contact information for them. Maybe their out of business, or go by another name. Thanks, Best Regards Bruce bdeane5527@windstream.net
  12. Charles, Thanks for the response. Are you a AACA tech advisor? I just got this restored Safari and it needs a few things taken care of. There doesn't seem to be many sources of repop parts that I have found yet. Any suggestions? I need a pair of front springs (it is listing to the left) and a pair of tail light lenses for starters. Any help would be appreciated, Bruce
