TerryB
My reference books show Auto-Lite distributor was used in 1946-48 Chrysler 8 cyl. Auto-Lite part number IGT-4201-1. Not sure if export model was different number.Terry
TerryB
Ok now I have the Chrysler parts book out that was printed in 1953. It shows Chrysler distributor part number 1126 571 fits Chrysler 8 from 1935 to 1950. This number is again for domestic US cars. Hope this helps with your search.Terry

TerryB
Hans, it looks like some people on this forum may have what you need. Most all of the distributor's internal parts are replaceable. if you know the part in problem you might be able to purchase it. I had a 37 Dodge with a flat 6. Most of my spare parts were sourced from Andy Bernbaum (www.oldmoparts.com) or Roberts Motor Parts (www.robertsmotorparts.com).Best wishes,Terry
