midman
OK, I am going to sound dumb here but this is my first prewar car. I'm starting to go over it and make a list of what I need to do to make it a good driver and as I went over it a couple of things showed up that I can't identify and can't find in the shop manual I have. This one is mounted to the end of the steering gear with a group of wires hooked to it as well as a control arm? Any ideas of what it is and what it does? Steering lock? This bracket is behind the sidemounts on both sides. sort of a U shaped cup mounted to the running board behind the sidemount spare????Thanks for any help
HarryLime
First pic is the light switch controlled by a lever on the steering wheel center. Second, I am guessing, is the side mount attach to the spare tire.
keiser31
I think the cup on the fender may be for the spare wheel lock.
