gwells
Here's the remains of an early '20s car found on land someone just bought. So far the car has not been identified. There are a few features that might make an ID possible: fork-mounted drum headlights with tie bar, disk wheels, front fender bill, six or eight cylnder motor, and a generator marked De Jon Electric Corp on the endplate. No further info or pictures are available. This posted at BarnFinds.com and is being reposted here with permission, after I informed them that the experts were here! LOL.
West Peterson
Does it say anything on the hub cap?
gwells
C.W Muse spotted this right away over at BarnFinds. It's a 1924 Flint E-55. The images at the following links should support that claim.http://s301.photobucket.com/user/patriotic_2008/media/jimsflint2.jpg.htmlhttp://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2011/01/02/hemmings-find-of-the-day-1924-flint-touring/http://s301.photobucket.com/user/patriotic_2008/media/JimsFlint3.jpg.htmlhttp://www.dmacweb.com/makes/flint/1924%20Flint%20Bob%20Krause/target3.h Edited October 3, 2013 by gwells (see edit history)
West Peterson
I think you meant 1924. Sure looks like a 1924 Flint Six. Headlights mount on the frame exactly the same. Exhaust manifold is the same, and water inlet on the top of the cylinder head is the same.

addicted to cars
Mine was rough but not that rough, I sold it to a man who is going to restore it. It doesnt look like it in the picture but it was about 90% complete.
