Guest Rogerr
Hi, new here, could use some info. What is the value of 37 Buick. Original except for interior recovered. Solid body. Needs paint. Running and drivable. What would you pay for it? Edited July 29, 2013 by Rogerr (see edit history)
alsancle
Not to pick on you but it is funny how many people post questions asking for value help and fail to mention anything about the car. Given the information you provided, it could be anywhere from 500.00 to 75k.
Pete Phillips
Value depends a lot on what body style it is. If you posted a photo of it, I cannot see it. Pete Phillips, BCA #7338
Guest Rogerr
I stopped to look at it and thought that was enough info for general pricing, No offense taken. Body needs paint but no apparent rust or dents. Motor runs, was missing but no smoke or knocks. Interioe was redone with smooth green cloth on seats and head liner, looks ok but not great. Green carpet on floor. 37 Special, model 40, series 46. 65,000 miles if i saw it right. Was restored about 25 years ago, don't know how much it was used lately. 60FlatTop
The pictures are visible. Is this a car you are interested in buying? Your post is written "What would you pay for it?" Does that mean, What should Rogerr pay for it?You understand the purchase price is just the beginning.Bernie
Guest Rogerr
Yes Bernie, I am thinking of buying it. Don't want to do a complete rebuild. Just a toy to mess with and go to local meets. I do have a little experience with cars from the 50's.
alsancle
If it is nice shape, solid runs well, nice interior, I'll say not more than 4 or 5k. The Buick guys will give you a better idea I'm sure.
