Guest my3buicks
been looking around and can't seem to find the list for 90 paint stripe colors, found 88's and 91's. What is 79A?

Guest my3buicks
Thanks Ronnie, I knew I had seen that out there before, I couldn't find it. Well, looks like I will be redoing the pinstripe : / Everything else is correct though.

wws944
Keith - are you sure it isn't 75A? That is what my Reatta has, and it has an otherwise identical color scheme as yours. Edited July 3, 2013 by wws944 (see edit history)
Guest my3buicks
Definitely 79A Dark Red
wws944
Definitely 79A Dark RedGosh - your Reattas VIN is so close to mine, they were probably built within a day of each other.
Guest my3buicks
I am guessing dark red should probably be the same color as the interior, is yours more red than the interior?
ol' yeller
Keith, Mine is an original stripe and it is a pretty close match to the Garnet Red interior. It would be kind of hard to show that in a photo on the Internet.
Guest my3buicks
Is yours 79A or 75A ?
wws944
I think my 75A stripe is just a tad 'redder' than the garnet red (78) interior. Here is a photo, though my cell phone camera completely underexposed the interior portion...If one figures the Reatta Craft Centre finished 20-30 Reattas per day, there is a real good probability that our cars were built on the same day and with the same batch of white paint. wws944
BTW, code 79 is also called "ruby red". My Suburban has a code 79 interior, and it noticeably 'a bit more purple' than code 78 garnet red is.
ol' yeller
Keith, where is that service tag located and I'll check?
ol' yeller
Never mind, I scrolled up and found Ronnie's excellent tutorial on where to locate. Yes my code is 79A.
