JFranklin
This doesn't seem to be for a model T 1920's style engine. I was wondering if they were made for an earlier model. I have installed a Texas T distributor in the past but this won't fit my '20 T engine as there is block part casting in the way. Maybe it was for racing if on a T. Or maybe a model S? The distributor seems to be made in Argentina, most likely VW. Maybe it isn't even for a Ford product. any ideas what other cars might use something like this. the part that fits the communtator receptacle is 3"
oldford
Certainly looks like Model T. Perhaps the two ears on the rough casting were intended to be removed when the part was finished. Still think it's Model T.Frank
Layden B
Yes Model T Ford, an Argentine import from many years ago that quickly gained a notorious reputation.
JFranklin
Yes it is a rough casting I agree but there is no way it will fit either model T I own. It must have been made for some purpose. The casting has machine marks on it where necessary. I was thinking it might be for a make other than a Ford.
