Looking to add overhead console > will it fit?

Anyone have a pic of Reatta headliner area between the sun visors? Especially without the headliner attached. I was curious to know if that space has attachment points anywhere underneath the headliner.

I was considering experimenting with adding an overhead console like this one from another GM car. Wonder if I could wire in that trip computer display too. Thoughts?

Don't see why you couldn't. Don't remember there being any ready made mounting points being there, but with some creativity I'm sure you can make some.

There's good 12 volt sources there, but any other signals would have to be wired in. Would be nice place for a compass / temp display if you can get the components from a donor vehicle.

Attached picture was shot from drivers side.....front is to the left. I added the silver insulation when I redid the headliner, dome light is on right.

It will most likely not work as the communication is different. I had a 93 s-10 blazer and could not get the 95 to work with it. 94 and 93 worked fine. an other piece of info for you is that the 93/4 display will plug into the overhead you are looking at.

Thanks but wish that pic was a bit larger. On a side note, what an interesting T-frame roof. Almost looks like they were prepping the frame to take T-Tops.

More likely for headroom, sunroof cars are very limited.
