The photo was taken in July of 1960 at Camp Pendleton, I believe. Although it's hard to tell, because of where he is standing, there does not appear to be an outline for a back door on the body; leading me to believe it a 2-door. Sorry for the poor quality photo. A higher res scan might take a little more restoration if it is the only photo you have of your Dad. Here is what I could do with what you posted.
