The most significent difference between the Model A and Model B engine is the latter has pressure oiling instead of splash oiling of the crank journals.

WOW! Thanks for the photo's. I was not aware that the later 3 bolt water pump had not only the lube fittings on the other side of the casting, but they are also reversed. I would love to know what adaption this engine was used for. It hardly looks used!

checked the # and it was made in 33, I opened it up and its brand new, getting ready to drop it in with the new transmission that came with it but having problems with parts interchange on the transmission.

Trans has no place for the radius ball to bolt to and the U joint collar that bolts to the trans that I need is 6 bolt instead of 4 bolt. will post some pics after I repull the old trans.

Wife wont drive it unless the new trans with the syncros is in it.
