1937-44
I just saw this on Cleveland, Ohio Craig's list and thought I would post it here in case anyone needs it. I don't know anything about it other than what it says in the post and unfortunately it isn't close to me. He has Norwalk, Ohio as a location and was asking $500. 1924 Buick 4 Cylinder Engine? smithbrother
I kind of get the impression that it laid out in a field for years, now someone has cleaned it up a bit and painted it. Some of the picture HINT to major rust forms/action. I hope I'm wrong.Dale in Indy
Guest BJM
Thanks for posting. Interesting to look at if nothing else, but it does seem to have some parts that restorers want. I have a question for you experts. Looking at the photo from the back, which shows the pressure plate/clutch - the block appears to be in 3 parts with a long seperation snaking from top to bottom and 2 smaller sections. Is that normal or is this block toast? I figured it would be monoblock with detachable head in 1924.
Dave_B
I think that is a side cover for the push rods. It wraps around the front too.Dave
