Sounds like you are JUST having fun, FUN IS GOOD!

I just cleared out my garage/shop so tomorrow I can take the 41 Limited down from wheel casters, and back it out.

Going to start new thread next week, DO IT YOURSELF WINDSHIELD INSTALL with pictures of the former pinch weld rust, and after a fixin.

I have all new Steele rubber, and good sealants. The painter installed WITHOUT any sealants, so it leaked. That was in 1995.

Missed it by 1/2". It is 3/8-16. Hey how many points do I lose for having a part from Home Depot?

Thanks,

Paul

Save and use it for the other end of the bracket ( at the exhaust manifold ). If it is plated, the finish will go away on the head from the heat , but the threads will release later. Also original exhaust manifold bolts are very brittle...I have broken as many installing as removing.
