INTERCHANGE SEATS WITH OTHER GM PRODUCTS

Does anyone know if any other GM cars use the same seats as the Reatta? If none are the same are there any others that will fit in the reatta?

Welcome to the forum!! You should post your location. Someone near you might have good Reatta seats for sale.

Nothing will have the exact same seats as the Reatta. The Riviera will have similar seats, but you might have trouble finding the right color.

There is a company out there that will recover them, but it is pricey like $1200 ish. That is if that is the issue.

What is the name of the company, where are they located and do they sell the kit so you can do it yourself.

If you think about the mounting system, I would think that GM would standerise as much as possible.

Think about the mounting unit as a 3 piece unit......... In the middle is the power part that goes forward and back and up and down. Connected to that are brackets that mount to the seat bottom and the floor.

Trying to find a unit that mounts correctly to your floor might be difficult, but if you use your power unit and adapt at the seat mount that would be pretty easy.

So measure your Reatta seats and go the the salvage yard and find seat that will fit in the Reatta. You might even remove a seat and measure the mounting hole location on the bottom...... you might find one that fits.

Here is a hint....... the Reatta, Riviera, Toronado, Seville and Eldorado all use a similar floor pan ........ There are lots of Sevilles and Eldorados in scrap yards.
