Guest 1910deliveryTRUCK
I have an image (an original photo postcard) of what I think is a Buick truck. Before I waste any more of your time, is this the right forum to be on to get help with a positive ID of a Buick truck? or should I go to some other forum? The image I have is amazing; I wish I could just step back in time and slowly walk around the whole truck! Anyway I appreciate your help and patience... nzcarnerd
No reason for you to not post it here, but I suggest also that you post in it the 'what is it' forum as well, just in case it is something other than a Buick.
Mark Shaw
Please post it here... Everyone would enjoy seeing it.Thanks,
Larry Schramm
If you can not post it, you can send it to me if you want and I can post it. I should be able to tell you if it is a Buick Truck. There have been some Buick truck post cards on ebay recently. Usually they are phone company trucks.
Guest 1910deliveryTRUCK
I have been trying to send the photo; I've got it set up as a jpg and as a pdf, but it is too many GBs. So I will send it to you as you suggested. Hopefully you can open it. I also have it at the very start of my blog (Quack Cogitations). As you will see, it is certainly no U.S. Mail delivery truck! It was a delivery truck for proprietary medicines, the main one being Zat-Zit! Thanks again for your help!

Larry Schramm
The first picture of the 1910 Buick truck from the Sloan Museum in Flint. The second picture is a better picture of the Zig Zag truck.(supplied by 1910deliveryTRUCK) The third picture is of a 1910 Buick Truck owned by AT&T. All of the Buick trucks that I am aware of have pneumatic tires. My first impression is the truck is an International Harvester, but I am not confident of that first thought. I am quite sure it is not a Buick. Here is an AACA link for a Buick truck discussion. The second picture is one of my trucks and the bride in Flint for the GM 100th anniversary parade.http://forums.aaca.org/f165/buick-trucks-255548.htmlHope this answers your questions.
