fordmerc
What is the strip of material between the front fenders and the body ( '41-120)? it appears to be a fabric -?anti-squeak? Is this a "non-beaded" fender welt? Can anyone suggest a source or substitute for the material?
HH56
Someone else will have to say if the welts were beaded or not but Restoration Specialties Restoration Specialties & Supply, Inc. | Windber, PA 15963 is one place that has both various beaded welts and the flat anti-squeak material. Their new online store hasn't quite caught up with the printed catalog and list all they carry yet so download their 2011 PDF catalog. It's on page 118-119.. Restorer32
I would be pleased if Restoration Specialties found the time to actually alphabetize their index in their catalog!
fordmerc
The material on my car is not beaded. I looked at the Restoration Specialties Catalog and there's some anti squeak material that might fill the bill if 1/16th thick will compress a bit. Thanks for guidance.
