Guest gamewiz233
Hey everyone,New to the forums here and just need some help in finding out what these wheels went to. Just found them in a barn and want to get them appraised to see what they're worth. They're about 22" in diameter (the rims) and two have tires and the other does not. I believe they are 1930's era. Any help will be greatly appriciated! Thanks
keiser31
The first one looks to be Chrysler Corporation related, but we are gonna need clearer photos to be able to tell.

Guest
They sure look like the ones a friend has at the front of his road to his ranch. 20's Oakland. Fortunately he has the center caps that say so.Don

Guest
Good question, my friends are in better shape, with center caps and are buried in about six inches of dirt, wagon wheel ranch style at his entrance gate.:eek:D.
nzcarnerd
The ten spoke wheels with thick spokes could be Pontiac, Oakland or Oldsmobile around 1929-30. Might also be Nash.
Bill Boudway
Hi,Not Chrysler, as they would have brake drums on the fronts as well as the rears.Good luck

28 Chrysler
Many 4 cylinder Chryslers had only rear brakes and not hydraulic
Guest
The 10 spoke wheel looks to have Jaxon rim clamps so it very well could be 29/30 Pontiac. The brake drum is very similar.
keiser31
Many 4 cylinder Chryslers had only rear brakes and not hydraulicAll Chryslers had hydraulic brakes. You are correct in that the first two years only had two wheel brakes, but they were hydraulic.
