Guest BJM
It's rare enough to locate a 70 Wildcat but even rarer to get one equipped with factory buckets and console. Granted it looks tough but has nice pedigree and a last year model.1970 Buick Wildcat Edited November 5, 2011 by BJM (see edit history)
Pete Phillips
Looks like optional disc brakes and I see some factory A/C components, too. Can't beat the price of $1000. Why are all of the interesting cars always located 1500-2000 miles away?!Pete Phillips, BCA #7338
JohnD1956
Agreeing w/ Pete. That would be a great car to have if one has the time and space to work on it.
Buicknutty
Cool car, if the body is solid it would make a good project!Keith
Guest BJM
Received an emaail reply from the seller. This has been an in-the-family car and therefore just about any offer will be accepted. It was the seller's uncle car before he got it 8 years ago. I believe it has been off the road for a long time and because of the high cost of a real restoration, it is being avoided. He said local interest isn't "hot". Probably because it's not a Skylark GS. I think the 69-70 and especially the 70 Wildcat has an aggresive look to the body, a real good "swan song" for the series. Look at those buckets and console. They really complete the package. I asked about a posi and he did not know.
