I'm making, (in Portugal -Europe) a restoration of my 1948 BUICK, model 41, Body by FISHER, and I need know de composition of the original color - Paint nº 17 ( BLUE ?). Thanks.

Most of the current offset colors require some/extensive tinting to get a good color match. If you have a paint jobber that has the ability to scan your paint, and you can find a small patch of original color on your can, he can get you fairly close

I think this is a metallic (most "Poly" are) - even more ways to go wrong with a spectro scan match. Visual by an expert.

4817 Calvert Blue Poly - you can cross check from there. the original pigment mix is not useful for making paint now

Thanks for the help. In reality the original color seeme to be the "4817 Calvert Blue Poly". I'm convinced by the painter to use modern Acrylic to paint.
