Guest the chad
I was always told not to fill fluid in master cylinder unless putting in new brakes. I read you must pump brakes a certain number of times with car off. Mine car is down a little, but that would not bring the abs light on randomly? Guest Mc_Reatta
Low fluid warning switch lights the red brake lamp not the yellow.Intermittent yellow light is most likely a wheel sensor going bad.
johnemac
I changed my oil yesterday and saw my brake fluid down about a third. I unscrewed the cap and added the third, and now I have a yellow abs light. I read Ronnie's tutorial (after the fact)and am wondering how simply unscrewing the cap, adding fluid, and replacing the cap caused the light- if related. Thank You
padgett
Unless you pumped the brake 25 times with the key off before filling, you may have overfilled it and when the accumulator bled down it may have overflowed onto the wiring.
