dwollam
The rusty hood latch is correct. Gas cap is after market. Bolts are for front fender brace through frame from the inside, hard to get at for regular bolts.
MikeC5
Thanks guys. Anyone have a photo or two of the cowl light opened up? I'm not sure I'm getting how the cover is held on. Dave, the rusty latch is the one on the right? (they both have some rust).
dwollam
Yes. The left one is quite early. The right one(rusty colored!) is correct. And I hate splash pans so I have them blocked out of my mind and could not tell you which is what

DoubleG
The cowl lights have three small pins attached to the inside of the trim ring.they slide into three slots located on the housing. Turn the trim ring counter clock wise about an inch. The two pieces should release. If it doesn't turn it could be rusted together and needs some penetrating oil to loosen the parts. The splash shields look correct. The one with the hole in it goes on the passenger side. The water pump drain valve goes through the hole. wider ends butt up to the fire wall. the cups are on the top and butt up against the frame. The other side bolts in between the block and oil pan.Hope this helps.
