ch1929
I pulled my water pump off the engine for a rebuild. While it is off I want to replace the worm style hose clamps with the correct ones. Are the 2 wire screw clamps the correct clamps? Where are they available? Thanks!
TonyAus
The correct style wire hose clamps are available from Meyers. I got mine off old Hoover washing machines. Other brands of washing machine may also use them - consult your local dump.Tony

ch1929
Everyone thanks for the information. Keiser, the 2 that I have are made from 2 peices of round wire, not stamped.

I was just curious if these were used on Dodges originally, as well as the wire items.
27dodger0
Just a note: I went to the trouble of finding the wire type clamps when I restored my 27, but unless you can find the old red hose, the clamps will not be tight enough to work with modern black hose. Had to resort to the current clamps.
