57Ford
I was wondering if anyone had an idea what makes or models of vehicles used this jack? The only markings I could find on it was patent #2,433,537. I looked it up and found that the date of the patent was 12-30-1947, Walker Mfg. Co. of Wis., Melvin G. Ward. Thanks in advance! Fleek
Not sure if it is associated with any particular car. Could be. We used this style on the farm for pickup trucks and other semi heavy duty uses.
Larry Schramm
The jack looks very similar to the standard bumper jacks of the 50's and 60's for the GM cars that my Dad had.
Ben Bruce aka First Born
Without going through the snow to the garage to compare, looks like the jack in my '50 Buicks. Ben

drwatson
Item 310276343399 on eBay is offered for a 49 - 54 Chevrolet. The base & jack look just like yours. It's probably for other GM's too.

57Ford
I couldn't find any other details on the patent number--there was a link for any photos that were filed with it, but I couldn't bring it up. I looked up the item number on E-bay, and that sure does look like the same base and jack--that would make sense with the patent date too. Thanks!
