85 T-type for Sale (not mine but local)

Howdy,

I've been talking with a local guy with an '85 Riviera T-type for sale locally. He doesn't want to sell it but needs the funds to upgrade one of his more daily driven vehicles.

Car is Burgandy on Burgandy but the CO sun has baddly sun faded the paint and he's already repainted the hood in primer in preperation to start repainting it. I've not seen the car personally but it looks very solid from the pictures he's send me (attached below). Car has been bumped in the front (cracked the fiberglass header panel and creased the fender) and slightly swiped in the rear (doesn't look like more than paint and maybe a mild dent) Interior looks very nice as well, especially for out here where the sun turns 80's interiors into vinyl dust. Front seats show wear and some cracking but the rear is awesome. He's got the original wheels for the car though I don't think he's got the original radio. Has original documentation and the rear filler panels look solid. The fronts are questionable after the bump but don't look bad.

Asking ~$4000 but he's open to offers in that "ballpark", I can go look at it if someone is serious about it.

If anyone has any interest, I have a pristine header panel, with a perfect grill, and it too has the fiber optic indicators on it. Or if anyone is in need of one, let me know.

Hopefully he hasn't run those RWD wheels with that offset on the car too long. RWD wheels on a FWD chassis create some ungodly pressure on the front axles and ball joints.

I parted out a red interior 84 Riviera and someone can have the interior parts that may need replaced. just pay shipping. i have door panels blah blah........here in Michigan interiors dont dry rot

Just got a message from him, $2500 now. I'm tempted but I need to get 7+ passenger vehicle not a 5.
