Unknown lower ball joints

Many years ago, Kanter sent me wrong parts (no, I don't tell here what I'm thinking of Kanter) I had and still have no idea for what vehicles they are good.

This pair of lower ball joints are looking very similar to the ones of the '56-57 Continental Mark II/Lincoln models and totally different at what GM had at this time. Therefore, I'm thinking these parts could fit a later than 1957 Lincoln or Ford product.

On the picture, it's a bit difficult to read the wording on the part; it's: 26-13; on the second line: C4

Has somebody an idea?

It is very FoMoCo looking. At the very least, I can rule out '58 - '60 Lincoln for you. Very similar mounting arrangement, but slightly different shape.

If that C4 mark is of significance to it being a Ford part, I believe that would equal 1964.

Last Friday, I gave the pair lower ball joints to the man owning some Mark II He said they may be from a Lincoln, anyway, a Ford product. I just hope he can use/sell them!

Check late 50'6-early 60's Olds or pontiac. Not Ford. I will be home next sunday and have a book to Id them. just stared at those same ones for 4 days at the Moultrie meet. have 10 pair, sold none.

Interesting, Dan! Well, they are looking very similar to the ones I had. The man who got them has more space than I do; he got them for free, so it's not a big deal. I had them for 20 years; he may keep them as long as I did!
