1957 Buick Fuel Door NORS!

For many years of '57 Buick ownership, I've searched in vain for a good fuel door for my

Roadmaster. I found a fine, shelf-worn NOS example about five years ago and have now listed

NORS '57 Buick Fuel Doors (at the main Commercial Forum), made in a mold cast from that NOS part.

Pardon the obvious, blatant commercial pitch, but...

Your Buick deserves this bumper beauty bit!

Wow, Tom. What a great service you're doing for most every '57 Buick owner! And, just $125 for this quality reproduction. Just think of what a guy would have to pay for an NOS fuel door these days (if, by some long shot, that part was encountered at a swap meet). Nice going. Regards, John in Wisconsin

Wow, very nice! I can't decide if the NOS door I am saving for my Roadmaster post-paint now feels less special or more special...

I'd consider it much more special, 'cause it's probably the only NOS one left.

I haven't seen one since I bought the one we used (about 5-6 years ago),

and it had so much shelf wear it would've needed re-plating to be any good.

If we could all find an NOS door, we wouldn't need to have made reproductions!

Thanks for the good words, this is a foray into re-doing Buick bits. If the '57 doors sell well (new reduced price),

we'll see about doing '58 doors, as well. Same type door, but a completely different casting.

Have you found your '57 Caballero yet? When you do, I know where you can get a nice fuel door for it...
