olympic
At a show yesterday, a gentleman showed up with a 1911 Reese(Reece) Paris roadster. Has anyone ever heard of this car? It's not listed in any auto atlas I have found.
Guest billybird
Yes. I saw one at a National Meet in Charlotte in July of 2000.
TG57Roadmaster
The car was at Blacksburg in August, too. The cute ivory colored roadster with the butterfly front fenders is pictured below from the show's album in the Gallery.Larger, click once after opening to enlargeThe owner was parked next to us in the trailer area, and when loading up he said that it was one of two (or maybe one of one) ever built. I could be wrong about the number, but it's one rare and delicate little bird!TG Edited October 18, 2010 by TG57Roadmaster (see edit history)
1912Staver
Hi, this car has been featured in a few club magazines over the years. I believe the make is spelt with a B as in Breese. Hope this helps. Greg

Below is what is on-line:Marque or Author: Breese (France) 1911 Title: Miscellaneous Summary: Four full-color prints and photocopies of articles/reference material. All pieces pertain to the four-cylinder light sporting Breese built by an American in Paris. Subject: Compilation -- compilation Call number: 97-B1551You may also do a research request (self explanatory on the Library site). No all literature is catalogued so I would advise contacting Mr. Chris Ritter, Librarian: critter@aacalibrary.org or 717-534-2082Regards,Peter J. rons49
The owner, and his car, participated in the Glidden Tour here in Tucson in 2000. It is quite a car and fast for 1911.
