BUICK RACER
That's nice, but where does it live?
Guest C5Kev
Well, duh! That info might be important. The car is located in McHenry, IL, approx. 1 hour northwest of Chicago, IL. Thanks Racer.
Thriller
Nice car. I hope it finds a good home. If my new shop was done and paid for, I may have been able to find it a home.Secretary Kris in the far NW suburbs needs a pre-war Buick. This one would fit the bill nicely. Guest C5Kev
Thanks Thriller. Have Kris check it out, it's a great car, it just needs someone to spend some time with it, something I no longer have.
trimacar
This does appear to be an excellent car to spend some time with. I once owned a '37 Buick, one of the nicest driving cars of the period I would say. The one I had was a low mileage original sedan, and was not worn out mechanically, thus a pleasure to drive. My only advice would be to state the price you wish to get for the car, surely you have a figure in mind, and that way potential buyers could weigh car against price and you may sell quicker, if price is in the fair range.Good luck, beautiful car...... Guest cardinal905
Yes, it says price is at top of the page---I dont see it, am I missing something ?
Guest C5Kev
I'm an idiot, the car is a 46-S, not a 66-S.Thx Trimacar. Before my dad started messing with the engine, it was an enjoyable car to drive. Smooth engine, smooth trans. Was a little toasty in the summer though with that mohair interior!Cardinal905 - yes, I was going to update offers...I'd like to be in the 10-12K ballpark for the car. I have a '65 triple white Corvair convertible too. Want that also?
Jim65Riv
"Would like to be in the $11K - 12K ballpark." - it's a little hard to pick out.
