vetsalsman
Received my copy of the latest Hemmings Classic Car magazine and there is a vintage picture of some Lincolns on a transporter. On top is a post war Lincoln Coupe and a Lincoln Continental ConvertibleI can not make out the 2 cars on the bottom, but it is an interesting period photo. It appears that the convertible has a cover over the soft top.
Phil Knapp
They're all 1948 Lincolns (Zephyrs - although the name "Zephyr" was dropped after WWII). The cars on the bottom are 1948 Lincoln 4-door sedans. Edited September 17, 2010 by Phil Knapp (see edit history)
v12lincoln
The conv on the top looks a lot better shape than mine when I got it, The disc brake conversion was well worth doing, feels like power brakes without the booster. no more fighting it to stop straight when I get cut off in rush hour traffic. CBoz
Yep, I got my issue of "Rambler Monthly" and saw that pic as well. Of course, if they had been AMC cars, we would have gotten a 10-page treatise on how stylish and advanced they were....
