Model T Taillight Bezel ?

Hi Guys,

If memory serves, this looks like a taillight bezel / frame for a Model T. Just the same, there are no markings on it to identify it.

The diameter is 4". Can't say for sure if it has ever been installed. Certainly looks clean enough that it may never have been.

Any help is appreciated and, yes, I just realized that the first picture is upside down

Hey Kat, What's the distance, center to center, of the mouting screw holes?

Hey Dale,

The mounting holes are 3 inches apart from end to end.

The 27-28 Model T Accessory Stop / Tail light is 3-1/2" center to center on the mounting screws. Could be Model A or one of many others.

Not sure if it is original or a reproduction but, I would say that it is from a Model A Ford.

I'm not sure if its original or repro either. It came from the collection of a friend's grandfather who recently passed away. I'm trying to help him identify and sell the pieces. Everything else found has been of the same vintage (1920s-1940s), so I'm ASSUMING it is original, but I have no idea how one might tell them apart.

The T lamp also has a ridge around the face - it is not T, but could be early 30's...
