Guest Richard Moore
Here are a few pics of my restore in progress. Thanks to all of you guys for your advice and suggestions.I will be installing the seats and door panels next week.Still have a few days of wiring to do.The body is a 47 Super. The engine is from a 48 that I have been using for a parts car.I have about 6 months in the project. The colors are newer Buick stock ones.Garnet red body with peweter fenders. It still has a stock three on the tree and a 6 volt system. It is basicly stock except the color on the exterior.I wanted to hi-lite thoe huge Harley Earl fenders. Thriller
Very nice Richard. That's a lot accomplished in six months. The colour combination looks good.
Guest Hector
Richard, what a great job.The first and last pictures are great.I will go ahead and admit that I am not familiar at all with that year car.To further my admision of ignorance,I always thought that the panel on the door was part of the door skin,it never occured to me that it was a separate body part. Thanks for teaching me something new today.Good looking car, good call on the colors. old-tank
RichardVery impressive workmanship! Straight panels and the best alignment I have seen on a very difficult car to do correctly. More pictures are always welcome.Willie
