g-g-g0
I have read on Buicks.net that the correct color for a 1957 364 Buick Special engine is Hampden Blue. I have checked with Hirsch and they do not list it. Is this blue the correct color? Does any one have a source for the correct paint?Appreciate your help. buick5563
I'm not sure what color they called it originally, but whatever "apple green" color they sell is correct. Should be the same as all 53-66 V-8s. (not including Rivieras, but you were asking about a Special).
Thriller
Buick Green is another name for it. It is definitely not a blue nor turquoise.Mike is correct about the years. I did see that either POR-15 or Krylon listed a Buick Green among their paints, but I don't know how "correct" it is and have not yet taken the plunge to buy a spray can to test. 1957buickjim
Hi. Buick Green is the correct color. Hirsch has it. Perfect match to original paint on engine. did mine 20 years ago with Hirsch and still looks good!. Had to spray it myself, not in spray cans. Good luck.
