Jim Anselmo
Anyone have a connecting rod and piston from a '48 239 they would like to part with? I'd like to replace the rod that has a 45 degree bend and the shattered piston. Thanks,Jim

jbbuick22
Jim, The ones I have are #499628. The pistons on them measure 3 1/4", which I think means the 8 cyl engine, I found 6 but the other two may be hiding under something. The pistons are cast iron with two compression rings and one lower (bottom of skirt) oil ring, all apear to be in good shape.
