keiser31
Anyone got any drawings that they did themselves that they want to post? Here are some that I drew in the mid sixties.
Guest Leonard Shepherd
I have lots of them. The first one was when I was 8 or 9 years old in 1954. The colored one was my art teacher's Studebaker when I was in the 8th grade in 1958.
keiser31
Very cool Studebaker drawings! Here are a couple more from my past.
Guest Leonard Shepherd
I like your 37 LaSalle and GTO tiger. I didn't just draw Studebakers. A neighbor wanted to sell me a 50 Chevy. I didn't buy it but I wanted to customize it.I always liked the Kaiser coupe. There was a 49 Olds coupe on the Studebaker dealership used car lot. I wanted it. keiser31
Love ANYTHING with wires through the valve covers. Was that drawn in a mechanical drafting class by any chance?
Barry Wolk
No, but I did take every drafting course available. That, and wood and metal shop. I hated math but I knew I'd need it. I wish I hadn't blown off history and English, though.
keiser31
Barry....it sounds like we were twin sons of different mothers or separated at birth or something. Maybe I am in the Bizarro world of your normal one. Parallel lives from Michigan.
Barry Wolk
At the very least, we must have gone to different schools together.
Guest Leonard Shepherd
It looks like Barry got an "A" on his 32 Ford project. I did a term paper, that I got a "E", nowadays that is an "A", but I didn't do so good on spelling and writingI also did a Studebaker air cleaner in mechanical drawing class

Guest CarAdMan
Thanks, I enjoy all the old drawing from both of you. It brings back the sixties, daydreaming and doodling in Latin I class. Here's some more.
keiser31
Here is one of my latest. I did it for a childhood friend. He used to race me with this car in my Roadrunner. He always lost.
Guest CarAdMan
Nice drawing. Is that the 390 GT Fairlane? They sure would run. I've got a 460 in my '65 F100, but I don't drag race anymore (like I did 40 years ago) I use it for work, or I did until gas reached $4. Not I only use it on weekend cruises.
