TedWel
Can anyone tell me how or if I can research my 63 rivi? Would like to know how many 63's came silver/silver? And if there is a way to research the built expressly for plaque? Any and all help would be appreciated. Gravrbbr
Shop Rat
Welcome. You can check here http://www.aacalibrary.org/ for information regarding your vehicle. If you are an AACA member a certain amount of research is free. Otherwise there is a nominal cost. You can use any information that you get from the AACA Library and Research Center as documentation should you decide to show your vehicle. Bill Stoneberg
The "Built For" plaque was a plaque you ordered from the dealer, or if they knew you were coming to buy the car, they would order it for you.I still have the original on my 64. Guest DaveCorbin
Dear Gravrbbr: We had a BCA chapter member in Chicago who had a 63 Riv that was silver/silver. That car was fitted with hand controls so he could drive it. I remember him saying that the number built was VERY small (50?), but that was 25 years ago.
