keiser31
The BB-1 is for a 1931 Chrysler CM6.
Guest DodgeKCL
The BB1 is the correct and very rare updraft carb for a 1932 Plymouth PB, the last of the Plymouth 4 cylinders.
carbking
As a general rule, the Detroit Lubricator Company (Stewart carburetors) used the letter as an indication of the month produced, and the first 2 digits of the number were the last 2 digits of the year.Example B-252 would be February 1925.Since these bowl covers interchange from 1914 to 1927 (and even with some Stromberg and Zenith carbs); the number on the bowl cover is NEVER conclusive.Carter made 68 different versions of the BB1 updraft, including those previously mentioned by other posters. However, the BB1D, while an extremely desirable unit, is strictly aftermarket; NO original applications.Jon.
