padgett
On Saturday, Reatta started acting cranky. Idle and to about 1/8 throttle all felt fine. Above that it seemed to lose power and run rough. Turned out that the secondary winding on one of the coils (Magnavox has been replaced with Delco) had opened: instead of 5.9 k ohms it was reading infinity. At low load it must have been arking temporarily and stopping on higher load. Five minute change of coil fixed.I always keep a spare ignition module and coils in the car, never know when you might need one. DVMs are $3.99 from Harbor Freight. Don't leave home without one. DAVES89
If you go to www.car-part.com and look up a 1992 Pontiac Transport you will find all the cars that will have a coil pack and ignition module that works on the Reatta.

padgett
That is a 1992 TranSport with 3800 engine like ours. The ignition for a 3.1 will not be useful.
