Dandy Dave
Saw this on ebay Push here to see it. Did Buick ever build a worm drive rearend???The rearend itself looks like Model TT Ford one ton to me. It looks like some farmer made a wagon out of it and could have put Buick wheels, or just Buick hub caps on it.What do you fellers-N-gals think? Dave! Mark Shaw
Nope, I don't think it is Buick; it could be many different makes.
Leif Holmberg
With this hub cap the wheel seems to 1927-1928 Buick, but the rear axle looks like T-Ford or A-Ford truck. Leif in Sweden.
Dandy Dave
As I stated above, The TT Ford truck had worm drive. I think some of the very early 1928 model AAA one tons also had it, but not for long. They went to a ring and pinion sometime in the first three months of production. The first Modle AAA Ford one tons had 20 inch wire rims that were a lot heavier built than the car wheels. I think the Ford guys consider these early Model A's as AR's. Dave!
