davenc Posted November 8, 2007 Share Posted November 8, 2007 The correct coil for a '28 Buick is Delco #2188. The coil on Ebay is a Delco #2176. I can't speak to the differences, they may not be significant, but there may be a difference in the windings and thus the output voltage.
