wenthur
What does an exhaust whistle sound like, I didn't even know I had one, until someone in the club pointed it out to me from a photo. I pulled the wire and it sounds like screeching metal in intervals.if this is normal. who wants it? if not do I have a bad one?
nearchoclatetown
Schreeching MIGHT discribe it. Every compression stroke it whistles. Slow the engine down real slow and try it
R W Burgess
Probably the sound Doug's wife makes when he comes in late from a night on the town. Wayne
DDewey
It sounds like you actually have an Explosion whistle. This is one that is on the engine head, and whistles with the compression in one cylinder. An exhaust whistle is connected to the exhaust system and uses backpressure to blow a whistle, usually four chime, that sounds more like a railroad steam locomotive whistle. Both are fun!David D.
