  2. Just how well do you know your dog ?

I have heard that among the many powers of Bill Harrah

is the ability to shape shift ;)

Perhaps Bill was taking you for a walk in yet another masterful

attempt to add to his collection

1913 - Thomas B Jeffrey Company - In 1913, the Thomas B. Jeffery Company debuted a prototype four-wheel-drive, four-wheel-steer 2 ton truck it called the Quad. The truck went into production in 1914, and with WWI just beginning in Europe, it was just in time to be snapped up by the British, French, and Russian armies as well as by the U.S. Army in small numbers. In 1916, the Thomas B. Jeffery Company was sold to Nash, and the Quad became the Nash Quad. It was built and sold in large numbers during WWI, but sales trickled after 1919,and the Quad went out of production in 1928.

  3. The discussion is in vain .... ;)

There are cars for sale that will never be sold because the price desired

does not reflect the value of the vehicle in the current market that

the vehicle is being offered for sale in

The Seller chooses the time to sell

Sold cars are priced at a cost reflecting current market conditions

You have one chance to buy a car - at the time you make an offer

At that time you should have the cash in hand & a trailer to haul

the car away or a buddy to drive it away when you leave

  4. Somehow you managed to navigate your way to this Public Forum ;)

There are thousands of other car forums with worldwide subscription

    and participation

    Build a website

Accurately describe the condition of & photograph/video each vehicle

Join respective car forums and try to connect with a buyer

Things have changed - ebay is not the market force it once was

and auctions do not bring the prices they once commanded

  7. I am on the road every day ....

Some days are better than others

Some days really stand out ;)

April 15th was just such a day - I had the pleasure to meet Chet Hitt

and drop off his 1947 Cadillac Hearse at Sunset Hills Memorial Park

    in Apple Valley, CA

I met another memorable Chet last year - Chet Krause of

Krause Auto Collection in Iola, WI

Chet Hitt was nice enough to let me shoot a short video

of the restoration shop where another Cadillac Hearse is

just finishing up a (2) year frame off restoration :)

You can view it @ YouTube - TrulyVintageOnDaRoad's Channel

Sunset Hills Memorial Park is the final resting place for Roy Rogers

Chet has an impressive collection of horse drawn & motor hearses

    dating back to the 1800's

  8. I recently joind the AACA - glad I did :)

I received (2) recent magazines in my membership packet,

in one was another article about a Bookmobile that I enjoyed

I clicked on this Thread expecting it to be about that one .....

    But yet another story ;)

AACA sure is a great place

  9. What can be said of a bloke who can turn an Airstream trailer into

a bloody floating boat (of all things) .....

Well, certainly you are resourceful ;)

Aside from that - when you get stateside I imagine you will encounter

no problems finding a COE here.

Personally - I would limit your search to Utah - Montana -South Dakota -

Nebraska - Idaho - Nevada - New Mexico

PM me & I will send you some top secret search engine sites
