This might be interesting .....
Post something you know about the member above you.
It can be funny or interesting - but has to be polite.
Feel free to illustrate your post with an image ....
I'll go first,

I had to get some grade 8 fasteners yesterday
and went down to my local hometown supplier ...
Who do you use for nuts - bolts - fasteners
in your hometown (other than big box stores)
when you need a handful ?
My go to supplier:
Bond Industrial Supply
921 North Main Street
Franklin, OH 45005-1650
Phone: (937) 746-4637
Bond has just about every size nut & bolt
in sae and metric - prices are very reasonable

The frame ends short of the body of the motorhome - most likely
The frame extension is for the body only - not for towing
You need to look for a newer Class A with a full length frame
that is designed - engineered - listed to tow the trailer you want

The top image ....
When magnified to full size ....
Says " Ginger Al " I believe ....
Also seems to say " Verified " but not sure ?
Seems to be a lady in the front seat ?
If picture was taken in Michigan, isn't the license plate a clue ?

Unloaded miles ....
Enclosed or open ....
Unloaded miles determine time frame
The longer you are willing to wait for connecting loads to
the pick up point and from the drop off point ....
The more reasonable your transport cost will be
Enclosed or open
Enclosed usually costs more
Beyond that - realize you are paying for a service
Folks will promise you cheap prices all day long
A promise is not a transport

The story seemed to have just stopped since about 2008. Last I heard she was in the care of a company called Ultra One, that makes a rust removing product. I saw them video of the hose running on it and into a kiddie pool. Since then.... NOTHING. Where is she now??
I found this pic of her but no info on condition or location.
She has her own FORUM with several Threads .......

Twas' the Night Before Christmas
And I could not sleep ....
Racing thru my thoughts that night
A promise made by Santa that I hoped he would keep .....
Many, many years ago when I sat on his knee
I asked Santa for a 31' Woody, a real one you see .....
Just like my model recently built
Only running and driving, dressed out to the kilt .....
Santa sat for a minute, scratching his beard
" Now Jimmy, this may sound strange - perhaps even weird " ......
" I will grant you that wish, just be patient and wait "
One year it will arrive I promise, I might be a little late ..... "
So every year I wake early to look by the tree
I check out the driveway, hoping to to see .....
My 31' Woody
Waiting for me .........
Wishing you a Merry Christmas .........

Jim, I like your photo of 'on the road'
I passed a large flat bed yesterday hauling a dozer, a backhoe, and a shiny red late 70's -early 80's Pontiac Trans Am convertible. Made me take a second look for sure.
Happy Holidays to all.
Thank you Bill .....

Your Father was instrumental in the preservation and care
of many classic cars .....
In the end, we are all ' Stewards ' and personally I think the
best examples are those of us that can resist the urge
to put our ' Thumbprint ' on something we really only
own for a short period of time
Kudos to your Dad .....

I bought this universal true wireless remote on Amazon and installed it
on my new 9000 pound 12VDC electric winch - it works great !
The only thing - the larger control has the winch direction backwards
(the ' in ' function is actually the ' out ' function)
Also, there is a one second delay so if you are ' bumping ' your winch
to apply correct tension - you might want to use your wired control.
It works from 50 feet away from the winch installed in an enclosed
trailer for me - installation was relatively easy ...
Here is the link @ Amazon.com: WINCH WIRELESS REMOTE KIT: Automotive

Wayne,
Perhaps if folks take the time to read before they reply ...

What you said was fine Jim. It's just that some states have different laws and everyone should be aware of them before jumping on the bandwagon. You may buy a perfectly legal dyed fuel in Ohio or somewhere, but coming into a state that does not allow it can run into trouble. The day I got stopped was at the Virginia/Maryland line, and those fellows were serious looking.
Personally I'm just saying that everyone should collect "ALL" of the data before making hasty decisions that can cost you money in fines.
Wayne
Wayne,
With all due respect .......
Your point is valid - but this thread was just a notice of a good price
on legally available home heating biodiesel and on road biodiesel
As I have stated - I purchased on road biodiesel and got a receipt
No law broken ....
Jim
-
There is actually a law in Washington that permits you to use home brewed fuel for highway use without needing to report it to the revenue dept. Using it is legal as you personally use what you make. You cannot sell or commercially distribute it. This was brought up in another forum I belong to.As a suggestion guys, you probably should check your local laws before heading down a "bumpy road" like this one.
This Thread has gotten off track .....
I posted a tip about a local company that has been legally operating 6 years
selling locally produced biodiesel ....
I am pleased that at least one member may benefit from the tip
in purchasing heating oil for his furnace ...
Jim

Very cool Thread ....
Wonder if they ever made any plastic engine blocks or structural parts ...

I wonder if they dye their fuel like off-road diesel fuel? There you go, the real bugaboo with using undyed fuel on the highway, unless it's a farm vehicle. Big fines for big trucks, little guys may get away with it..... for a while. It can not be RED guys!!!
A humorous story, one of my trucks was pulled over and had samples taken out of the fuel tanks. They were really confused when they saw the yucky white colored oil that came out of the right side tank. That was our hyd tank for the hyd pumps!
I've always heard the off road diesel was dyed red where as road fuel was un-dyed. So if you're running un-dyed stuff there's no way to tell. The diesel fuel I get at the pump for my Mercedes doesn't look dyed.I actually run WVO in it and only use diesel fuel for starting and purging before shutting down.
No dye in this biodiesel ....
It all comes from the same tank.
The price you pay depends on the use.
I paid the on road diesel price & got a receipt.

Actually I live about 20 miles away and have been looking for a bio-based heating oil for my furnace. I don't have a diesel vehicle.
They had 250 gallon shipping containers on skids used for transport.
i don't think they will deliver.
If you check out the link, it has their phone number.
