  1. I have been selling that part for 45+ years now along with the gaskets to replace it. It comes in a couple of different styles but they all work the same. I also sell new (NOS & NORS) anchors if you are dismantling your trans. Dave
  2. This is David Edwards. I just finished reading the above thread and have a few observations. Probably the largest manufacturer/Seller of most new torque ball retainers is Tri-Components in NY and they have been manufacturing/selling them for over 30 years now. Theirs is the one I generally sell, it is all new and the rubber is bonded properly. They have sometimes looked differently over the years, a bronzy look and also a zincy greenie look, I never saw one from them that had a shiny steel look. I also have some new Borg-Warner ones in my barn. In over 30 years I have had only one known failure where the rubber separated from the metal. I replaced it at no charge and the vendor (Tri-C) replaced mine. Unknown of the reason for failure, either poor bonding or the fluid that was used caused it to deteriorate. The one I am selling now looks like the one on the right in lancemb's picture above. If you want to check some of the other Dynaflow parts I sell, look here http://www.autotran.us/dfparts1.html Thanks, Dave
  3. I have a new (NOS) u-joint for the 1939 Buick S40 & S60 only, P/N 1309468. It fits nothing else and P/N 509295 is definitely not the same. I just cut the sealed Buick box open today to look at it and take pictures. It is $150.00 postpaid in the US shipped by USPS Priority Mail. I accept PalPal. I am going to list it today, 4/5/2019, on eBay starting at a $149.99 auction price.
  4. I know this post is old but if anyone still wants to know where the different gaskets and o'rings are used in the 1948-60 DF's they can look here Dynaflow Torque Ball Retainer
  5. Jolly John, I just e-mailed Bill Sawrey yesterday, June 18th, and received a response a couple of hours later. He still sells the tools and will be answering me this weekend when he gets back home. The e-mail I used is toolzguy@bellsouth.net Dave
  6. I am in the US and I sell all of these parts that have been mentioned in this discussion. I have been selling Antique automatic transmission parts for over 30 years now and I ship regularly to Australia and anyplace else in the world.
