  1. What you can’t see is the big half circle cutout in the door for clearance.🤔
  2. I do have a Hudson hub cap here. I can wear it on a chain around my neck, my version of a big clock. Tell everyone it is the weight holding me down in life.😂
  3. Any one know year, make and model of this car. Imagine on one of the banners hung up.
  4. I don’t think Hudson hub caps could qualify for the show.😂
  5. Stunning car, show is this weekend. I will take pictures of all the cars for you.
  6. Been awhile since I have had music playing in a garage/shop working on my cars. Looking for a small space to lease down here, and there will be music playing once again.
  7. Spare tire would also be under the truck, and tail light looks incorrect. Correct style, but should be recessed in the panel. A piece of wood is bolted to the frame for the spare tire to press up against, and a bracket that it fits into. Those brackets are hard to find. Not picking on the truck, only thing I don’t care for is the lay out of the paint. And that seat looks correct in style, and will be very uncomfortable.
  8. Front bumper and guards are not correct. Hudson and Super Six hood scripts should not be on the truck. Stock hood would have rivets filling the holes. Paint color and two tone paint scheme is not something offered originally. Wood in truck bed was painted black with bed strips painted black as well. Dash gauge clusters are not correct. The background has the nicer fish lure finish from the passenger cars. Truck gauge background was just a plain tan finish. Red steering wheel is another, 16 inch wheels with plain Hudson triangle caps. Not sure on interior color choice? Nice truck, dressed up a little with nicer car items and finishes. Trucks were stripped down and plain from the factory. This one still has the correct meat hooks for the tail gate. One of the first things I get rid of.
  9. Not really restored, there is a lot on the truck that is not correct. Trucks were very plain and kind of ugly in stock form. Hard to find a straight up restored one, most people dress them up with items from the passenger cars. And finish out other areas nicer then originally finished. Don’t blame them for doing it. Nice truck.
  10. The red steering wheel is a little out of place. I have seen a few Hudson’s where they carry the main body color onto the bottom of the grill and fenders. I would not paint one that way, but it does look like a nice clean truck.
  11. What do you do with it? Make a V16 convertible? Not a real one, will never have a high value. Drop it in a sedan, ones on here can not bring the asking price that an engine rebuild would cost. Spare block and parts for a real V16 car is all I ever see it being used for. Someone tore it down for a reason, so you know it was not running great when that happened.

  13. These cars are one of just a few where the roof line of the hard top, looks better than the roof line of the convertible top. But a convertible is a convertible.
  14. 1956, how beautiful your tail lights are. These tail lights remind me of a 54 Skylark, not as bad as a skylark. Color is most likely holding this one back. I don’t mind it. A underside inspection for rust would be a good idea. Chrysler had great cars in these years.
