  1. Hi Lou try that ferry ride in 50 plus MPH winds and 30 foot waves in below zero temperature. In the winter the ferry can be stuck in ice for a day or two, [there is a bar and a restaurant on the ferry]. In the summer you may see some sea life if there is no fog, some days are beautiful. 2. Some very interesting automotive news. Feb. 2009 Canadian sales report from CBC news [cbc.ca].Chrysler 11,923, Ford 11,854, GM 11,381, Toyota 10,163. The experts were totally taken by susprise, they expected Toyota to be number one or number two. This is the first time in 60 years that GM has not led monthly sales. Jan. 2009 sales GM 14,092, Chrysler 11,170, Ford 10,901. Sales have been down as much as 67% in Jan. and Feb. One never knows what to expect to see in these times. Merrill Nelson
  3. Tony I have found that Mothers back to black works quite well. I have used it on my TC and Lebaron, it will restore faded black trim quite well. Good luck in your show. I am putting my Tc in the Atlantic Nationals this weekend, it will likely be the only TC ever shown there. Check their web site click on te line below each days activities for pictures of Canada's largest car show over 1600 cars. www.atlanticnationals.com Merrill Nelson
  4. David and Lou I had a bid on this TC and I got a message from EBAY saying it had been withdrawn, but did not say why. Merrill Nelson
  5. Tom By my count there are 12, one closing in 40 minutes, this is the most that I have ever seen. Merrill
  6. Air HEADS-- what else??? ----- Merrill Nelson
  7. Allan, it has taken me waay too loooong to reply,it was good to have lunch with you, I enjoyed your company. I met a great group of TC owners, [Wild??] Bill and Caroline Wriston, Larry and Bruce Carlson, Stephen Lyons, Mark Norton, Hemi Anderson and many others. I got to tour part of Tucson With Mark in his 16 Valve car and returned to the hotel with Hemi in his well traveled 8 Valve 5 speed to complete a good afternoon. Tom [Jasper] I enjoyed your boat and motor home tire blowout stories and hope to go to the Florida meet. The tech and repair sessions were of great interest to me as I do a lot of my own work. The trip to Tombstone was a good time thanks to Stephen. All of the best to all of the others that I met. Merrill Nelson
  8. Did you check the other 7 cars he has on ebay? I did not if I should laugh or cry. Merrill
  9. To Car Chick Will the stainless steel door jamb pieces fit a 1992 Lebaron convertible? Merrill
  10. Hi My car is an April 1991 #8540. Every thing still works. I am replacing the badly cracked dash, while I am in there what do you suggest to replace the grease with? Any help would be appreached. Merrill
  11. You have to use an allan wrench, it is not metric. Turn out the allan screw [do not loose it] the knob will pull off. It worked for me, I have not tried to replace it yet. Good luck Merrill
  12. does the hardtop have a decent opera window and if so how much? I could use one. Thanks Merrill
